Cookie statement
This site sets no tracking cookies. Here is exactly what it does store, and why.
Last updated 30 September 2026
The short version
This website sets no tracking cookies. No analytics, no advertising pixels, no social media plug-ins, nothing that follows you to the next website. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.
The one thing we store on your device
When you choose a language, the site remembers it. Otherwise you would land in English again on every visit.
Because it does nothing except what you asked for, it is a functional item and needs no consent under Article 11.7a of the Dutch Telecommunications Act.
- udm.lang - holds the letters en, nl or tr. It is kept in your browser's local storage rather than in a cookie, it never leaves your device, so we never see it, and it disappears when you clear your browsing data.
Fonts loaded from Google
The typefaces are served by Google Fonts. Your browser collects them from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com, and that request tells Google Ireland Limited your IP address and which page you are viewing. Google sets no cookie when it does this. If we move the fonts onto our own server, this section disappears and so does the request.
If we ever add measurement
The moment we add analytics, a remarketing tag or anything comparable, three things happen before it loads. You get a banner that lets you say no as easily as yes. This page lists every cookie with its purpose and its lifespan. And your choice is recorded, so we can show what you chose and you can change it.
Clearing or blocking cookies yourself
Every browser can block cookies and site data, or clear what is already there. Look for privacy in the settings: in Chrome and Edge under Privacy and security, in Safari under Privacy, in Firefox under Privacy & Security. Blocking everything can break sites that genuinely need it. This one will simply forget your language.
